The second phase of the Beijing Hotel’s redevelopment project is located on the north side of the Beijing Hotel, Wangfujing. It is adjacent to the Wangfujing Commercial Street in the east, with a building area of 270,000 square meters, and it is surrounded by ceramic walls. According to the person in charge of the Beijing Construction Engineering General Contracting Department, the total construction area of the ceramics curtain wall for the second phase of the Beijing Hotel is 53,000 square meters, and more than 230,000 pieces of Terracotta Rainscreen Panels are used. The scale is rare in China. In addition, there are many types of Terracotta Rainscreen Panels, including more than 200 kinds such as flat type, stripe type, and concave-convex type. The orange Terracotta Rainscreen Panels used in the project are all high-grade plates, with natural clay as the main raw material, and the color is mild and will not produce light pollution.
